Fencing panels incorporating a Trellis top or Trellis added to the top of fencing panels is apparently one of the best deterrents, it is virtually impossible to climb over without it collapsing, this and the noise and the obvious damage will deter the casual opportunist. If you grow something like an old fashioned rambling rose over the trellis you make it into a quite formidable barrier, if security is the major consideration also look at our range of gates.
Reduce the Wind
It is claimed that a hedge will disturb the wind for many times its own height; this is because it allows an element of wind through. This in-turn reduces the vortex effect that a solid barrier can generate. The Dorset, Somerset and Hampshire range of fencing panels all have gaps that allow a small amount of wind to filter through but not as effective as a wind barrier as Willow or Hazel Hurdles.
