The Hunting Catch is a strong galvanised gate catch for use on wooden field gates (5 bar gates). This gate catch is similar to the Filed Gate Auto Latch, but with the addition of a long handle (250mm/10"), to allow the gate catch to be opened from Horse Back, Uses a striker pin (available separately 84073) to close gates hung on the back of timber posts. Also known as a self locking hunting catch, a padlock can be fitted to prevent the latch from opening if required. We suggest two M12 x 60 Coach Screws to secure catch to gate posts.
